Review # 87: Ghiradelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix

Have seen this mix at Costco for what seems like years but never bought it. Finally, a couple of weeks ago I picked up a box, and this week got around to making a batch.

The review goes like this:

This brownie mix has three kinds of chocolate chips in it - milk , bittersweet, and semi-sweet. Does that sound like a lot?
Family members and a guest had mixed reviews, some really liked it, some thought these were OK,  but I, the reviewer, thought these were too rich, too thick,  too much chocolate, and just too much. I did like the cake part of the brownie, in small doses, which was kind of fluffy, chocolatey and moist, but hated, hated, hated the chocolate chips.
I will put in this disclaimer: those who liked these most were eating them with a glass of milk. Maybe the milk does something to make them more tolerable.
I will make them again since there are 4 more bags in this gigantic box, but  when they are gone, they will be out of my life forever.
