I found these "How to Crochet a Beanie Using Double Crochet Stitches" by Rachel, instructions and decided to give it a try.
The review goes like this"
This seemed simple enough, but I still managed to mess it up. I think you are meant to go continuously in the round, I ended each one with a slip stitch and a chain. The beginning explanation of what is being done was helpful. I did not understand some of the instructions, specifically:
"Round 4: (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc) around
Round 5: (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc) around
Round 6: (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc) around"
I would have liked a little more instruction, since it was rated as easy, so presumably meant for the newbie crocheter. Still, a very forgiving pattern. I will definitely be trying this again this winter. I'll give this a '9 ' since in spite of me not understanding some of the instructions it did come out looking and fitting like an actual hat. Thanks Rachel!
