Review # 68: Smart Source Stainless Steel Water Bottles

At Costco, I bought a three-pack of stainless steel Smart Source Water Bottles to use in the car, at work, etc.

The review goes like this:

Likes:
The bottles are attractive in red, blue and silver, and they come with neoprene sleeves which help keep your water cold and also prevent the bottle from sweating. Each bottle holds 27 ounces, has an easy open flip top and a little handle to hold the cup with.  The bottles fit easily in any car cup holder. These bottles are stainless steel, NOT aluminum, which is very important to me.
Dislikes:
A couple of times water has gotten between the sleeve and the bottle making a big mess when I took a drink. This seems to happen when I refill the bottle with the sleeve still on, or when I screw the top back on while the sleeve is pulled up all the way - the sleeve occasionally gets caught in the threads, creating a leak.
Without the sleeve these sweat terribly.
If you do not take care to push down hard on the flip top, it can easily pop open, making this bottle less than ideal for kids taking to school in their book bags or lunch boxes.

Still, for the car and for my purposes, these are very nice water bottles. I give them an 8.
